Bengaluru: The swimsuit round was held at Wonderla in Bengaluru as part of the Miss Universe India 2026 competition. 52 finalists selected from different states of the country participated in this decisive round before the grand finale to be held in Jaipur.
Before the grand finale of the Miss Universe India 2026 competition to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan on August 23, each of these rounds is being organized in several cities including Bengaluru, Indore and Delhi. All these are evaluation rounds. The winner of Miss Universe India 2026 will represent the country in the international Miss Universe competition.
Swimsuit Round in Bengaluru
As a part of this, the Swimsuit Round was held in Bengaluru yesterday, i.e. on July 29, at Wonderlaw, Bengaluru. The contestant who wins the Miss Universe India 2026 crown will get the opportunity to represent India and participate in the international Miss Universe beauty pageant.
52 finalists
The 52 finalists selected from different states of the country walked confidently on the poolside ramp and caught the attention of the judges.
The decisive stage
Before the grand finale, the competition reached a decisive stage, and the performance of the contestants was evaluated based on the criteria of international beauty pageants.
Contestants’ Confidence Competition
The swimsuit round is one of the most important stages of the competition, where the judges scrutinize the contestants’ confidence, personality, stage presence and overall presentation. This time, contestants from different parts of the country and diverse cultural backgrounds participated in the competition, reflecting the cultural diversity of India.
The competition so far
Previously, several rounds including the sashing ceremony, introductory ramp walk, speech round and gala dinner were successfully held. There will be several more evaluation rounds before the grand finale, after which all the finalists will participate in the final round to be held in Jaipur on August 23.
