Mysuru, Oct 19: Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), which set a Guinness World Record last year by creating an image using drones during the Mysuru Dasara, has achieved another Guinness World Record this year. A design of a peacock, created using 3,473 drones, has secured a place in the Guinness World Records.

This new feat was recorded during a drone show held on Sunday evening at the Torchlight Parade Grounds in Bannimantap. The drones, illuminated in various colors, synchronized to form the image of the national bird—the peacock—leaving the thousands of spectators gathered at the grounds spellbound.
Among a total of 12 formations, the peacock design created using 3,473 drones earned its spot in the Guinness World Records as the largest bird image ever created using drones.
Following the drone show, members of the Guinness World Records team, who arrived from London, officially announced the new record. They presented a certificate to CESC Technical Director L. Lokesh and other officials.
