Intense Russian Attack on Hospital in Kharkiv, Ukraine; School Destroyed, 29 Dead

Kyiv, Nov 4: Russia has intensified its offensive against Ukraine, with an attack on a village resulting in 29 deaths.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the deadly Russian strikes, which occurred ahead of new, US-mediated negotiations.

Zelenskyy stated that Russia attacked a hospital in Kharkiv, damaging the facility’s cardiology department while patients were undergoing treatment; 73 people were injured in the incident.

These intense attacks have taken place just before new talks—involving Russian, Ukrainian, and US negotiators—are scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi next week, aimed at ending the worst conflict in Europe since World War II.

Speaking during a visit to Berlin, Zelenskyy noted that Russia had launched a “massive” assault on his country, adding that the timing—coinciding with the day of major US elections—was “highly significant.”

“The Russians believe that America will not notice this move. But such acts of terror must be noticed and brought to an end,” Zelenskyy urged.
