Mangaluru: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to facilitate doorstep submission of Digital Life Certificates (DLCs) for pensioners covered under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 2026 (EPS 2026).

Through this initiative, EPFO pensioners can generate their Digital Life Certificates at their doorstep with the assistance of Postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), using Aadhaar-based Face Authentication or Fingerprint Biometric Authentication. This facility is particularly beneficial to senior citizens andpensioners
residing in rural and remote areas, as they need not visit banks or EPFO offices for submission of life certificates.
The service is completely free of cost to EPFO pensioners, with the entire cost being borne by EPFO.
Pensioners may contact their nearest Postman/Gramin Dak Sevak or visit the nearest Post Office to avail themselves of this facility.
On successful generation, confirmation will be sent through SMS, and the certificate can be accessed through the Jeevan Pramaan portal.
EPFO, Regional Office, Mangaluru, encourages all EPS 2026 pensioners to utilise this convenient doorstep facility.
