Bengaluru, April 17: A horrific series of accidents occurred in Mahadevapura in the city. A test drive car belonging to the Mahindra showroom came at a high speed and hit four vehicles on the road.
The car was taken out for a test drive from the Mahindra showroom on the main road in Mahadevapura. It is said that the person driving the car was drunk at the time, lost control of the vehicle and hit a row of vehicles. Four vehicles on the road were injured in the accident.
A pedestrian who was walking on the road was seriously injured in the accident. Due to the severity of the accident, the pedestrian’s leg was broken and he was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, the public has expressed strong anger against the showroom staff. They showed irresponsibility by giving the car without checking the condition of the driver before giving him a test drive. It is alleged that the main reason for this accident was that the vehicle was given to a drunk person.
The Mahadevapura traffic police, who visited the spot, have registered a case and are conducting further investigation.
