Bengaluru, April 17: Chicken lovers beware. H5N1 virus bird flu has entered the state, and it was detected in the first inspection.


An inspection was conducted at the poultry farm with the permission of the central government, and the H5N1 virus was detected in the first inspection. Against this backdrop, the chickens in the poultry farm under the state government in Hesaraghatta have been culled and sealed.
Chicken was supplied to various parts of the state from this poultry farm. Therefore, the government veterinary officers have also issued notices to the surrounding panchayats, instructing them to conduct inspections in poultry sheds and chicken shops. They have also quarantined the chicken farmers.
Currently, the state has received information from the central government, and the state government has issued notices to the veterinary officers. The H5N1 bird flu, which has spread in the hot weather, has been reported, and the surrounding chicken sheds have been asked to be inspected.
