SJEC Men’s Hockey team has emerged as Winners in VTU Mangaluru Division Hockey tournament

Mangaluru: In the recent Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) level sports event, the Men’s Hockey team of St. Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore performed well and won laurels for the college under the guidance of PED, Vanisha V Rodrigues and Assistant PED, Sudheer M.SJEC Men’s Hockey team emerged as Winners in the VTU Mangaluru Division Hockey Tournament held at SCEM, Adyar on 7 May 2026.

The winning squads featured talented players from UG programs

Akshay (6^th Sem CSE), Reeve,Srujan& Tiron (6^th Sem ECE), ⁠Joshua (6^th Sem Mech), Praveen (6^th Sem CSBS), Shreesha & Rohith (4^th Sem CSE), Keerthan S Kotian (4^th Sem EEE), Gagan Bajpe, Yogesh &Shreepathi (4^th Sem Mech) and Hanamappa D H (2^nd Sem ECE).
