Chikkamagaluru, May 15: Recently, the conflict between wild animals and humans in the Malnadu region has been increasing day by day. This has made the people of Malnadu live in fear. The wild elephants that were already causing trouble have been relocated, and now it is time to finally get rid of the fear of wild buffaloes.

In the Malnadu region, wild buffaloes were not only constantly destroying crops, but also attacking farmers and the public. Now, the government and the forest department have decided to relocate the dangerous wild buffaloes.
This operation is the first in South India where an official order has been issued to capture and relocate 3 wild buffaloes that have been identified as dangerous.
For the success of this operation, forest department officials have already visited various states including Gujarat and received training. Currently, the operation has started near Koppa Estate, and a team of 6 veterinary officers and 2 livestock are being used.
With this bold step by the Forest Department, the farmers and the public in Malnad have sighed with relief. If this operation is successful, Karnataka will be the first state in South India to capture and relocate wild buffaloes.
