‘Kantara’ gets red-faced,Ranveer Singh bows down to Chamundeshwari and apologizes

Mysore: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has visited the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysore and apologized after being banned from Bollywood for allegedly insulting the deity in the film Kantara Chapter-1 and for backing out of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 at the last minute.

Actor Ranveer Singh reportedly visited the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysore this morning, offered prayers and apologized, following a direction from the Karnataka High Court.

The High Court had last month quashed the trial against the actor after Ranveer Singh tendered an unconditional apology in the case of insulting the deity in the film Kantara-1.

When the High Court was hearing this case, Ranveer Singh himself apologized to X. He also visited the Chamundeshwari temple and said that he would apologize.

Accordingly, Ranveer Singh went to the Chamundeshwari hill today, offered prayers and apologized.

What is this case?
At the Goa Film Festival, Ranveer Singh had spoken in front of actor Rishabh Shetty. I saw Rishabh’s Kantara movie in the theater. Your acting was amazing. Especially the scene where the female demon enters your body was amazing. Ranveer Singh had imitated your acting and your look in that scene. God worshippers were outraged by Ranveer’s mockery.
