Mangaluru: St. Sebastian Church witnessed a deeply moving Rosary devotion today at the church grotto, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary under the leadership of Parish Priest Fr Walter Dsouza asst parish priest Fr. Joel and Fr Osmand.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Legion of Mary, Parish Choir, catechism and Liturgy Commission.

The evening was marked by active participation across all age groups. Children led the recitation of the Rosary, their voices filling the grotto with innocence and faith. The Parish Choir uplifted hearts with Marian hymns, while carefully chosen video reflections and a solemn candlelight procession added depth to the prayerful atmosphere.
Special intentions were offered for children, youth, world peace, good rains, families, the sick, and parishioners living abroad. The candlelight procession, with faithful carrying lit candles around the grotto, became a powerful visual testimony of prayer and unity.
Large numbers of children, youth, and elders gathered, creating a grace-filled atmosphere of devotion and community.
The devotion concluded with Parish priest’s blessing, encouraging all to carry Mary’s spirit of faith and service into daily life.
Speaking after the event, parishioners described it as “a beautiful witness of faith across generations” and “a moment of peace and hope for our families and the world.”
Mr Royston Fernandes expressed gratitude to all who participated and helped organize the devotion, noting that such gatherings strengthen the parish family and renew trust in Mary’s intercession.
The one hour devotion concluded at 7.15pm
