But the same Genji students who helped Balen Shah become the Prime Minister in Nepal have now started a protest in a few months, demanding Balen Shah’s resignation.
Not an apology, he must resign
Genji student organizations have started a massive protest, saying that it is not enough for Nepal Prime Minister Balen Shah to apologize, he must resign. Some of the decisions and slogans taken by Balen Shah as the Prime Minister had caused great anger among the student body. But the students remained silent. Recently, Balen Shah’s speech in the Nepali Parliament regarding the India-Nepal border has sparked outrage.
India invites Britain to resolve the border issue
Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura are disputed places on the India-Nepal border. Talks are ongoing between the two countries on the border issue. There are disputes. Meanwhile, Balen Shah said that not only India has encroached on our territory, Nepal has also encroached on some areas of India.
The people of Nepal wanted the India-Nepal border issues to be resolved peacefully without making it a disputed issue like the previous government. But Balen Shah had appealed to Britain to intervene in his speech. This also further increased the anger of the student group.
