Mangaluru: Shanvi K of Class VIII C, St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, brought laurels to the school with an impressive performance at the 6th National Finswimming Championship held in Pune, Maharashtra, from September 29 to October 2, 2026.
Shanvi secured the gold medal in the 4 × 100m Mixed Relay and won silver medals in the 200m Bi-Fins and 100m Bi-Fins events, showcasing her exceptional talent, determination and sporting prowess at the national level.
The school management, Principal Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, Vice-Principals Laurel D’Souza and Aparna Suresh, staff and students congratulated Shanvi on her outstanding achievement and appreciated her dedication and commitment to the sport.
