His father Narayana Murthy received his 40th honorary doctorate from the University of York. His mother Sudha Murthy has received the 24th honorary doctorate from IIT Dharwad. His father-in-law (mother’s brother) Dr. Srinivas Kulkarni has also received the gold medal from the Royal Astronomical Society of Britain.
Rohan jokingly wrote, ‘Do you know what my contribution is in this? Taking their photos’. At the end, he expressed his appreciation for his parents by saying, ‘They are my best teachers’. This post has attracted thousands of people.
