Mangalore:- To throw some light on the opportunities for engineers in the Civil Services sector, St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC),Mangaluru, will be hosting a webinar titled “Turning Engineers into Civil Servants” on Friday, 31 July 2020, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The webinar will be delivered by Mr TP Sreenivasan, Former Ambassador of India, Retd. IFS Officer, Permanent Representative of India to UN and Governor for India of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna.
The number of engineers aspiring to join the Civil Services has multiplied in the last ten years or so. This is partly because of limited avenues for employment as engineers and raising of the age limit for Civil Service examination to 32.As there is an ever-increasing need of Civil servants for our country, this awareness webinar is being conducted by SJEC.
