Itanagar, June 29: As heavy rains continue in Northeast India, landslides are also being reported, and an entire hill has collapsed in Arunachal Pradesh.

A massive landslide occurred in the CG area of Lower Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh due to heavy rains, resulting in a horrific incident in which a biker was swept away along with mud, rocks and debris.
The video of this incident, which took place yesterday, June 28, went viral on social media, and the biker fortunately escaped death.
In the video shared on social media, the biker is seen carefully moving on a narrow road on a hill slope that was muddy due to the rain.
Suddenly, a part of the road collapses, and mud, rocks and debris slide down at a high speed. In a few moments, both the biker and the rider are swept away down the hillside.
River water blocked
The landslide has temporarily blocked the flow of the CG River, and a temporary barrier has been built in the river with mud and stones. Authorities are monitoring the area due to the possibility of flooding and fears of further landslides.
Survival is a miracle
There was an incident where the biker, who was swept away with the mud of the hill, abandoned the bike and ran for his life. Fortunately, he was not injured.
This video is now going viral on social media, with many on social media reacting to this incident as a “miraculous escape”.
If it had been a moment’s difference, everything would have been over. It’s a matter of joy that he survived safely,” one person wrote.
