Tamil Nadu, July 15: There are rumours that Vijay will buy ‘Veda Nilayam’, the residence of former Tamil Nadu CM and late leader Jayalalithaa. There are rumours that talks are underway to buy this bungalow from Jayalalithaa’s daughter-in-law Deepa for Rs 350 crore. If this deal is true.. Vijay’s convoy will reduce traffic congestion on the East Coast Road in Chennai.
However, apart from the rumours that Vijay is buying Jayalalithaa’s house in Poes Garden.. so far there has been no official announcement or confirmation from either side.
Poes Garden is an area where VVIPs live in Chennai. The Secretariat is located 8 km away from this area. Along with superstar Rajinikanth, Dhanush, Sasikala and many other film, political and business personalities live in the area.
It is interesting that there is a campaign going on that CM Vijay will shift his residence to Ved Nilayam, which is next to Rajinikanth’s residence. Earlier, when Jayalalithaa was the CM, the security personnel stopped Rajinikanth’s car from leaving due to security reasons. Due to this, Rajinikanth’s convoy had to wait for it to leave. With this, Rajinikanth got out of the car and stood next to the pillar, smoking a cigarette like a normal person. Within a few minutes, hundreds of people gathered there to see him. Due to this, Jayalalithaa’s convoy could not move forward.
