After Pahalgam, another terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir – Amarnath security policeman dies

Srinagar July 22: After the Pahalgam attack, some changes were made in the security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir. After that, security was intensified in the valley state. In the meantime, there was an infiltration of terrorists on the border, an encounter with terrorists during cobing. Terrorists were killed, policemen and soldiers were martyred. Now, there has been an incident where terrorists attacked a police party. A policeman assigned to secure the Amarnath Yatra died in this attack.

A firing attack took place in Lal Chowk near Anantnag. The attack took place at 12.30 pm. Policeman Ashiq Hussain of Budgam district was killed in the terrorist attack. The injured was immediately admitted to the Government Police Medical College. But Ashiq Hussain died due to serious injuries.

Additional security for Amarnath Yatra
Additional security was provided for the Amarnath Yatra. Terrorists have attacked the police deployed for the security of Amarnath pilgrims. This has created a security challenge in Jammu and Kashmir. Following this attack, operations have been intensified in the Anantnag area including Lal Chowk. Meanwhile, security has been increased for the Amarnath Yatra.

TRF attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba organization
Following the incident, the Ji Resistance Front (TRF), an affiliate of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization, has claimed responsibility for the attack on social media. The attack took place as the Amarnath Yatra was underway, causing severe anxiety.
