Moodubidire: The 16th edition of the mega placement drive, Alva’s Pragati 2026, concluded at the Vidyagiri campus in Moodubidire on Saturday. Of the 332 participating companies, 285 companies selected 2,394 candidates and shortlisted 5,935 candidates for further rounds of recruitment.


A total of 332 companies participated in the two-day recruitment drive, including 326 companies on the first day and six on the second. The event drew 15,539 job aspirants from across the country. The second day of the drive saw 2,523 candidates participating in the selection process.
Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd., a leading EV charging solutions company, has hired 35 women engineers through Alva’s Pragati 2026 for its Hyderabad plant, compared to 22 engineers recruited last year. The company supplies EV charging solutions to Tata, Mahindra, MG, Hyundai and BYD and has around 950 employees across nine States. It offers salaries ranging from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh, along with free food and transport facilities, and plans to increase the proportion of women in its workforce to 90% in the future. PoojaDuggal, CHRO, Exicom Tele-Systems, said the company was keen to provide more employment opportunities to women engineers and strengthen their representation in its workforce.
Codeyoung, an online education and coding platform offering technology and programming education for children, selected 4 candidates with an annual package of Rs. 8.36 lakh (LPA).
EXL, a global data analytics, AI and digital solutions company, selected 38 candidates for executive positions with a package of Rs.3 lakh per annum (LPA).
HL Mando selected 99 B.E. candidates from Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Automobile and Mechanical Engineering streams for positions in Chennai, with an annual package of Rs. 3.4 lakh.
ANZ shortlisted 84 candidates, including experienced professionals and MBA and B.Com graduates, for positions offering an annual salary package of Rs.3 lakh to Rs. 4 lakh.
Tata Electronics has selected 216 candidates, with women making up the majority of those selected.
Sagility, a healthcare business process management and technology services company, has shortlisted 65 candidates for positions offering packages ranging from Rs. 2.9 lakh to Rs. 3.4 lakh per annum.
FiveS Digital, a digital solutions and technology services company, selected 32 candidates for various positions.
Expertise, a leading industrial conglomerate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, has shortlisted 116 candidates for opportunities in the Gulf region and the AdaniMundra project.
Elogixa, a technology and engineering services company, selected one candidate for an onsite international role in Congo, Africa
Bühler India Pvt. Ltd.selected 14 candidates from B.E. programmes, including Agriculture, Electrical & Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering, with an annual package of ₹3 lakh.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor shortlisted 20 BE candidatesfor positions offering an annual package of Rs. 6 lakh.
Shwetha, a B.Com graduate from Government First Grade College, Kodailbail, and a native of Kallagundi in Sullia, completed her degree last year. She had been working with a company in Bengaluru but was looking for a better career opportunity.
