New Delhi: A massive flood has hit the Nepal-Tibet border, with the death toll already crossing the 400-mark and thousands of people reported missing.



More than 300 Indians are reported to be missing, including Sharmistha Bhowmik Roy, daughter-in-law of former Union Railway Minister Mukul Roy and wife of former Trinamool Congress minister Subhranshu.
Sharmistha, daughter-in-law of former Union Minister Mukul Roy and wife of former TMC MLA Subhranshu Roy, had reportedly gone on a Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage. According to information, Sharmistha Roy had gone with 32 other people to see Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Nepal with a Kolkata-based travel agency.
The group reached Nepal on August 21. However, the disaster occurred on August 25, and since that day, Sharmistha Roy has reportedly lost contact with her family.
