Upon reading a media report about her situation, Ayushmann—despite having no prior acquaintance with her—personally stepped forward to sponsor the rifle. This assistance enabled Meghana to undergo superior training using world-class equipment.
Meghana, who recently met Ayushmann, expressed her gratitude on social media. “In our sport, the equipment in hand is just as crucial as skill. A year ago, when I was struggling due to a lack of equipment, a newspaper report changed my life. Actor Ayushmann stood by my dream and provided sponsorship. His sole objective was to see an Indian athlete succeed on the global stage,” Meghana wrote.
