The body of 24-year-old Chinnu Pappu alias Reshma was found hanging in her rented house. The incident came to light when family members and local residents arrived at the spot. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, the doctors who examined her confirmed that she was brought dead.
On receiving information about the incident, the local police reached the spot, assessed the situation and started an investigation. Although it was initially considered a case of suicide, the police are investigating thoroughly from every angle. The exact cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes.
Reshma got married five years ago and the couple has a 4-year-old child. But she recently divorced her husband and was living alone. Reshma had more than 2.06 lakh followers on Instagram. She used to share topics about rural life, food, open spaces and Tulu culture on Instagram.
