Washington, Oct 14: American singer Mary Millben has leveled serious allegations against the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP)—which is protesting against the Election Commission of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi—stating that the organization is receiving financial support from US-based donors who oppose Modi. She also called upon young Indians to stage peaceful protests against the CJP. Asserting that this is not the time for silence, Millben urged young Indians to raise their voices.

What did singer Mary Millben say?
The 41-year-old singer stated that CJP leader Abhijit Deepke and his party are receiving financial aid from US donors who oppose Modi and his leadership. In a post on X, she defended Prime Minister Modi and his political leadership. She wrote, “Young patriots, do not be afraid. Your Prime Minister—who has served for 25 years, including 12 years as Prime Minister, and has been elected for three consecutive terms—will not bow down to forces coming from my country.” Milben has also alleged that a group of American donors operates by targeting conservative leaders across the globe. Individuals educated in the US are identified and drawn toward radical ideologies; upon returning to their home countries, they receive funding to launch political movements. She noted that even when such efforts do not fully succeed, they still impact the development and governance of the respective nations.
