Fighter jets collide in mid-air during air show – video goes viral

America, May 18: Two American fighter jets collided in mid-air during an air show held at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho yesterday, creating a tense atmosphere in the aftermath of the incident.

According to local media reports, the two fighter jets that crashed were performing aerobatic maneuvers when they lost balance or lack of coordination and collided, shattering into pieces like a ball of fire. The video of this horrific incident is going viral on social media.

During the air show, two EA-18G fighter jets suddenly collided in mid-air, burst into flames, causing the planes to lose control and crash to the ground.

However, the four pilots on both planes were able to safely eject via parachutes.

All four are in stable condition, officials said. No spectators or military personnel were injured.

The Gunfighter Skies air show was held this weekend for the first time in nearly eight years, drawing thousands of people to watch military aircraft displays and aerial displays.

Air show organizers have been preparing for the event for nearly two years, with safety teams and maintenance personnel stationed across the base, local media reported. However, the accident during the air show has raised concerns about the safety of fighter jets.
