Berlin: Several people were injured after the landing gear of a Lufthansa Boeing flight collapsed at Frankfurt Airport in Germany. The situation was successfully handled without any passengers being affected due to the precautionary measures taken by airport officials and airline staff. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which was ready to fly to Los Angeles, was in parking mode at the departure gate of Frankfurt Airport when the incident occurred.

Although the boarding ladders were attached to the plane, fortunately boarding had not yet begun. As a result, there were no passengers inside the plane and everyone is completely safe.
The nose landing gear of the plane moved inward due to a technical problem, causing the front of the plane to tilt towards the ground. Due to this sudden vibration, some ground staff of Lufthansa who were on duty inside and outside the aircraft suffered minor injuries. The airline board immediately admitted the injured employees to a well-equipped hospital without delay and they are being treated well.
Immediately after the incident, aviation safety authorities and Lufthansa Airlines jointly undertook a high-level investigation. The flight of this particular Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft has been temporarily suspended to prevent such technical faults from recurring in the future.
