Bengaluru: It has been learned that famous Kannada actress Krishi Tapanda’s boyfriend Vaishak committed suicide at her apartment.
The media reported that Vaishak committed suicide at the actress’ Krishi Tapanda apartment in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. It is reported that no letter has been found at the scene of the incident.
Vaishak was previously arrested and sent to jail in a case where he threatened businessman Arvind Reddy through a courier and demanded crores of rupees.
Final call to the actress before suicide:
It is said that Vaishak had called Krishi Tapanda before committing suicide. Vaishak was staying at Krishi’s house on Wednesday night. Krishi was not at home at that time. Vaishak had called the actress and said that he was going to die.
Krishi immediately informed the family about this matter. It has since come to light that he committed suicide. Currently, Vaishak’s body has been sent to Victoria Hospital.
Accused in the courier threat case:
In February last year, businessman Aravind Reddy received a threatening letter from an anonymous person. This letter was sent through Blue Dart Courier. The letter demanded crores of rupees. Recently, Krishi Tapanda had filed a complaint against Aravind Reddy. It is said that Vaishak had written a threatening letter to Aravind Reddy in connection with the same case.
The letter directly threatened the businessman saying, ‘You should immediately resolve the problem with Krishi Tapanda. Along with that, you should send an apology letter and Rs 6 to 7 crore. Otherwise, you will have to face various dire consequences.’
Aravind Reddy, who was alarmed by this letter, had complained to the police.
A case was registered at HAL police station based on the complaint filed by Aravind Reddy. The police, who registered a case and took up the investigation, had laid a net to trace the accused. During this time, Vaishak was caught.
