At the beginning of the new fishing season, traditional fishermen in the Arabian Sea of Karwar have caught a lot of fish, and the fishermen are happy. A lot of fish have fallen into the Yendi Net that was cast in the sea.

There is huge demand in the local market for the fish that have landed on the Karwar coast. Traders on the coastal areas are rushing to buy the fish through the auction process. Not only the local markets of Karwar and Uttara Kannada district, but also the fish here is being shipped through ice boxes to various districts including neighboring Dharwad, Belgaum, and Shivamogga. In addition, there is a huge demand for fresh fish here even in the border areas of Goa and Maharashtra, so it is being supplied through trucks.
