Mangaluru: The Boloor Savithri Vasudeva Rao Charitable Trust (R) distributed footwear to all 108 students at the Ashokanagar Higher Primary Kannada Medium School on Monday, 22 June 2026.
The distribution ceremony took place directly on the school premises.
Savithri Vasudeva Rao, President of the Trust, handed over the footwear to the students. She advised the children to take excellent care of their new belongings. She also motivated them to focus deeply on their education and strive for academic excellence.
The School Head Mistress Joyce Henrita, expressed deep gratitude to the trust and its trustees for their continuous and generous support. She highlighted that this marks the third consecutive year that the Boloor Savithri Vasudeva Rao Charitable Trust has stepped forward to support the school’s pupils with this initiative.
Several students spoke during the event, promising to study harder and care for their donated items.
Trustee, Jestalakshmi Boloor successfully anchored the program.
