MCC Bank crosses Rs 1,535 Crore business turnover; announces expansion with two new branches

The Bank has crossed a milestone business turnover of Rs.1,535 Crore, registering a growth of 22.89%. Its net worth has increased from Rs.83.76 Crore to Rs.91.80 Crore, with continued support from its NRI clientele said Anil Lobo Chairman of MCC Bank Ltd. in the pressmeet held at Hampankatta Head office on 24 June 2026.

Futher Anil Lobo said “MCC Bank Ltd, has completed 114 years of dedicated service, has achieved significant growth across key business parameters for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.”

“Under the present Board, MCC Bank has expanded its area of operations across Karnataka and functions entirely on core banking technology, offering a wide range of financial products and services on par with private and public sector banks. The Bank is also focusing on further expansion of its branch network across the State.”

“Since our team took charge in 2018, MCC Bank has witnessed remarkable growth. Deposits increased from Rs.304 Crore to Rs. 876 Crore (188% growth), loans and advances rose from Rs.191 Crore to Rs.657 Crore (243% growth), share capital increased from Rs.13 Crore to Rs.34 Crore (161% growth), and reserves grew from Rs.29 Crore to Rs.85 Crore (193% growth).”

“The Bank’s business turnover has grown from Rs.496 Crore to Rs.1,535 Crore, a growth of 209%. CRAR improved from 11.70% to 16.55%, while Return on Assets increased from 0.56% to 1,40%.”

“With the dedicated efforts of the management team, staff and strategic planning, MCC Bank has successfully complied with all Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulatory requirements. After a gap of 22 years, the Bank resumed branch expansion by opening new branches at Brahmavar, Belthangady, Belman, Byndoor and Santhekatte.”

Announcing the expansion plans, Anil Lobo stated that MCC Bank will inaugurate its 22nd branch at Deralakatte, Mangaluru on June 28, 2026, followed by the 23rd Branch at Katapadi, Udupi on August 2, 2026.

The Deralakatte branch inauguration programme will be presided over by Anil Lobo, Chairman, MCC Bank. Fr Victor Dmello, Parish Priest, Our Lady of Mercy Church, Panir, will bless the premises. U.T. Khader, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka, will inaugurate the branch. Sr Milly Fernandes. Superior General, Ursuline Franciscan Congregation, will be the Chief Guest.

Fr Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, Fr Muller Homeopathic College, Deralakatte; Smt Divya Sathish Shetty, President, Kotekar Town Panchayat, and CM. Sattar, Former President, Belma Grama Panchayat, will be the Guests of Honour.

Along with the Deralakatte branch inauguration, MCC Bank’s 16th ATM will also be inaugurated. The Bank has also announced the shifting of its Morgansgate Branch on July 25, Moodbidri Branch on August 22, and relocation of Karkal Branch to its own premises on August 26, 2026.

MCC Bank continues to offer a wide range of financial services including low-cost locker facilities, education loans for domestic and overseas studies, MSME loans, vehicle loans, housing loans, house repair loans, wedding loans and household purchase loans. Gold loans are provided without processing fees, while ATM and mobile banking services are offered free of charge. Deposits with MCC Bank are insured under DICGC guidelines of RBI.
