Dehradun, June 17: A recently married couple had gone on a trip to the beautiful hill station of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. A 27-year-old IT employee from Delhi, who had come to spend a vacation with her husband, died mysteriously in the homestay room where she was staying. As soon as this information was received, the Uttarakhand police rushed to the spot and took the room into custody and started an investigation.

According to police sources, the body of the woman was found in a very suspicious condition inside the homestay room. There were no clothes on the young woman’s body. There were blood stains on the naked body. Her nose was bleeding profusely. There were blood stains on the bed sheet and some parts of the room.

The items in the room were also visibly disorganized, which strengthens the suspicion that something had happened there before the death. The newly married couple had come to Mussoorie a few days ago and had stayed at this homestay. Where was the husband at the time of the incident? What happened to her? The police have questioned the husband intensively.

It is not immediately clear whether it was a murder, suicide or some other cause of death like excessive drug consumption. Looking at the condition of the body, there is no possibility of a fight between them or suffocation. The Uttarakhand police have taken this case very seriously as the young woman was working as a software engineer in a prestigious company in Delhi and was a newlywed.

The deceased Radha Gayatri and her husband Charan both hail from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Charan was working in an IT company in Pune, while Radha Gayatri was working as a software engineer in Delhi. The two got married on November 8 last year in the presence of their elders.

They left Delhi for Rishikesh on June 13 for a vacation. The next day, they reached Kiana Home Stay in Tipridhar area of Mussoorie late at night and stayed in a room called Bliss. Her husband told the police that they both consumed alcohol that night. The young woman’s body was found in the morning.

The husband and wife had consumed alcohol in the same room at night. They went to bed at 3.30 am. When they woke up in the morning, Charan informed the police that Gayatri was lying naked in a pool of blood.

Based on the husband’s statement, the Uttarakhand police intensified the investigation.
