Principal Rev. Dr. Anthony Prakash Monteiro said the college’s autonomous examination system had once again proved its efficiency by conducting examinations in a systematic, transparent and time-bound manner and publishing the results within the scheduled period. He credited the success to the coordinated efforts of Registrar (Examinations) Dr. Vinayachandra, Deputy Registrar (Examinations) Johnson David Sequeira, Abhishek Suvarna, the Examination Section staff, evaluators, and teaching and non-teaching staff.
The Principal also expressed gratitude to Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and President of the College Governing Board; Very Rev. Dr Praveen Leo Lasrado, Secretary, Catholic Board of Education, Mangalore; and Very Rev. Fr. J.B. Saldanha, Correspondent of the College, for their continuous guidance, encouragement and support. Their visionary leadership, he said, had significantly strengthened the institution’s academic standards and examination system. He congratulated all the students for their excellent performance and wished them continued success in their future academic pursuits.
Registrar (Evaluation) Dr Vinayachandra said the II and IV Semester examinations were conducted smoothly from June 2 to June 15 without any disruption, with thousands of students from various undergraduate programmes appearing for the examinations. Strict adherence to the examination schedule, confidentiality of question papers, examination discipline and transparency were maintained throughout the process.
He explained that immediately after the examinations, answer scripts were coded to ensure complete anonymity during valuation. Subject experts evaluated the papers impartially in accordance with established quality standards. Following the valuation, the processes of decoding, mark verification, result processing and final validation were completed with utmost accuracy, enabling the college to declare the results on schedule.
Dr Vinayachandra added that maintaining precision, transparency and confidentiality at every stage of the examination process remained the institution’s highest priority. He thanked the Deputy Registrars (Evaluation), Examination Section staff, Heads of Departments, evaluators, and teaching and non-teaching staff for their wholehearted cooperation in the successful completion of the examination process. He also wished the students greater academic success in their future endeavours.
