Tree branch saves woman’s life after jumping from 10th floor in Mumbai

Mumbai: A woman miraculously escaped death after jumping from the 10th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai. She was saved by falling on thick tree branches while falling. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought her down safely. Due to this, she was prevented from falling directly to the ground, a major disaster was averted.

Seeing the woman stuck in a tree branch, locals immediately informed the fire department. Firefighters used a hook ladder to safely lower her from the tree. She was later taken to a private hospital in an ambulance. Doctors said that her left leg was injured. She was later referred to Sion Hospital for further treatment and surgery, a civic official said.

India Today, which reported on the incident, said that the incident took place in the Sunshine Co-operative Housing Society in Tulshetpada, Bhandup West. The woman was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment after being rescued. Doctors said that the woman suffered minor injuries and escaped death.

The woman had been married only about 4 months ago. The police have not been able to record her statement as of now due to the woman’s serious health condition. The woman’s parents have also been informed about the incident. The Mumbai Police have registered a case and are investigating to find out the real reason why the woman jumped from the 10th floor.
