Dubai: A British TikTok influencer in Dubai is facing the death penalty after being accused of murdering her boyfriend.
Brooke George, a 23-year-old TikTok influencer from Gravesend, Kent, was arrested on the morning of June 22. Brooke was in a relationship with a man she met online. An argument between the two ended in murder.
According to the legal aid agency Detained in Dubai, which is providing legal assistance on behalf of Brooke, her boyfriend had severely assaulted her in their apartment. She said she stabbed him with a kitchen knife to save her life.
