Japanese students take selfie photo with CM on shoulder, viral video

Lucknow, August 22: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Japanese students in Lucknow. The meeting was filled with cultural programmes and moments of laughter, with students taking selfies with Yogi.

UP-Japan Investment Meet:
The event was held as part of the ‘UP Japan Investment Meet’ at the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow on Friday, August 21. In this event titled ‘A Dialogue with the Future’, 13 Japanese students and their teachers interacted with local students.

Yogi Adityanath started his speech by saying ‘Ohayo Gozaimasu’ (Good morning) in Japanese. He explained that Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country with a population of over 25 crores.

Cultural programmes were also organised on this occasion. While Japanese students sang a Japanese song, a student named Ishan from Uttar Pradesh entertained by singing the song ‘Kaushalya Dasharatha Ke Nandan’. Yogi applauded the performance of the Japanese students.

Later, the students took pictures with the CM. Some students were hesitant to approach Yogi and tried to take selfies from a distance. Noticing this, Yogi called them close and happily posed. In this funny moment, a girl student put her hand on Yogi’s shoulder and clicked a selfie. This unexpected gesture brought a smile to Yogi’s face.

The students affectionately called Yogi as ‘Yogi-san’ and eagerly awaited their turn. Japanese student Miyagi Moto shared her experience, saying, ‘It was my first time wearing a bindi, and I loved it. My experience in India was very unique.’
