Bengaluru, Sept 03: India is all set to set new milestones in the field of space. An ambitious project to build a habitat for humans on the moon and Mars has been developed by scientists from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru.
Named BHIM (Bharatiya Habitable Expandable Extraterrestrial Habitat), this project is revolutionary in establishing human settlements in space. Indian astronaut Subhanshu Shukla’s team is behind this amazing concept.
This technology will help in building a habitat on the moon twice the size of the International Space Station (ISS). This will give a big boost to India’s self-reliance in space and reduce its dependence on organizations like America’s NASA or Russia in the future.
The BHIM project is set to fly India’s flag higher in space through Made in India technology.
