New Delhi, Nov 7: Sources have revealed that US authorities have taken into custody a gangster named ‘Harry Boxer,’ who is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Harry Boxer, who allegedly managed the gang’s operations while based in the United States, faces multiple cases, including charges related to murder and extortion through threats.

It is reported that Harry Boxer claimed responsibility for a shooting incident that took place outside film director Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai. He is also accused of issuing threats to several prominent Bollywood figures following the incident, using social media posts and audio messages.

Shooting Incident Near Rohit Shetty’s Residence

Following the shooting outside Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai residence in February, several individuals from the film industry received threatening messages. It was reported that Harry Boxer had claimed responsibility for the attack. In one audio message, an individual—identifying himself as ‘Arju Bishnoi’—took credit for the attack while mentioning the names of Harry Boxer and Shubham Lonkar. The police are verifying the authenticity of this audio message; an investigation was also conducted into the role of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the February shooting incident.

Sources have indicated that gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria were also taken into custody in the United States, just days before Harry Boxer was detained.
