Delhi April 7: Violence has flared up again in Manipur. Two children were killed in a bomb attack on a house in the early hours of Tuesday. A 5-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl who were sleeping with their mother lost their lives in this tragedy. The children’s mother also suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a nearby hospital.
The incident took place in Moirang Tronglaobi in Bishnupur district. It is a populated area and a low-lying area close to the hilly region of Churachandpur.
Such attacks have taken place in the area in the past. It is initially estimated that this attack is a continuation of the ethnic conflict that has been going on in Manipur since 2023. After the incident, security forces have intensified search operations in the area.
