Mangalore: St Agnes PU College an awareness session on Drug Abuse was organised for all the students with the objective of educating them about the dangers of substance abuse and encouraging them to make responsible life choices.




























The resource person, Manasa Hegde, Panel Advocate, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), delivered an informative and thought-provoking session on the legal, social, and psychological consequences of drug abuse. She urged students to stay away from harmful influences, make informed decisions, and seek guidance whenever faced with challenges.
The programme was organised by ‘Abhaya’- women cell, under the guidance of Dr Tressie Menezes, The Conveor and with the encouragement and support of Principal Sr. Norine DSouza and Vice Principal Sr. Janet Sequeira, who continue to promote initiatives that foster the holistic development, well-being, and responsible citizenship of students. Ancilla, Lecturer in Statics and the member of Abhaya Committee was present on the occasion.
The session concluded with a strong appeal to the students to become ambassadors of a drug-free society by making wise choices and inspiring others to lead healthy and purposeful lives.
