Maharashtra: Nashik Family who were out picnic were chased and attacked by group of bike-borne men. Incident took place near Bhavali Dam on July 12.
During the Family of eight members were out for picnic to Bhavali Dam in Igatpuri in Nashik District were abused and chased for 15kilometers when the family objected to remark made against the woman.
Family has alleged in its complaint that two men passed inappropriate comments at the woman as they were returning from the picnic. When confronted men abused the family and left spot, only to return with large group in bike with iron rod and wooden sticks.
Group of men also chased the family for 15 Kilometers and also hit their vehicle smashing the car windows.
On reaching safely at Ambad Police station, case registered and detained few suspects for questioning.
