Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ principal of St. Aloysius Gonzaga School Mangalore selected for the prestigious Bharat Vidya Vibhushan Award by the International Institute of Education & Management, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The award will be presented on 21 June 2026 in recognition of his dedicated service, leadership, and valuable contribution in the field of education and society.
Fr. Rohan D’Almeida hails from Halekodi village in Barkur, Udupi district. A member of the Society of Jesus (SJ), he has been serving as the Principal of St. Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangalore, where he is widely respected for his visionary leadership, dedication to academic excellence, and holistic development of students.
The Bharat Vidya Vibhushan Award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions and excellence in the field of education.
