New Delhi, Oct 17: Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Reports indicate that he was admitted to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi due to a lung-related issue. Sources stated that the 98-year-old leader was taken to the hospital, located in Jasola Vihar, around 7:30 PM on Friday.
Advani Undergoing Treatment at the Hospital
Advani is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. The hospital has stated that an update regarding his health will be released soon. Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited the hospital to meet the senior BJP leader and inquired about his well-being. He also obtained information regarding Advani’s health condition from the attending doctors.
L.K. Advani has served as the president of the BJP on several occasions and held the position of Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. He played a pivotal role in building the BJP into a major national political force. Advani is often referred to as the ‘Bhishma’ (a revered elder statesman figure) of the BJP.
