Gujarat, May 6: A suspected Pakistani boat was found unoccupied in a creek area off the coast of Gujarat’s Kutch district on Wednesday, BSF sources said, after two consecutive bomb blasts near Punjab’s Jalandhar and Amritsar Army Cantonment.

They said that only fishing gear was found in the boat during the initial search and no suspicious items were found.
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have found an empty, unoccupied boat near the India-Pakistan maritime border, sources said.
Security has been beefed up in the area and further investigation is underway into the boat, which is unclaimed, they said.
Although Indian fishermen are banned from entering the creek area of the Arabian Sea, Pakistani fishermen enter the Indian side to fish illegally.
