Fire accident – Accused Irfan Pasha arrested for burning 6 cows alive while standing

Bengaluru: A massive fire broke out at a plywood shop on Shampura Road in DJ Halli, Bengaluru late last night. The flames spread to the cattle shed belonging to Srinivas, who was next door, in an instant. In this mishap, 6 out of the 20 cows in the shed were unable to get out and were burnt alive while standing, causing a huge loss to the livelihood of the owner Srinivas.

Accused Irfan Pasha arrested.

Police investigation revealed that this fire was not an accident, but the act of a miscreant. DJ Halli police have taken Irfan Pasha, a resident of KG Halli, into custody in connection with the case. He was caught on CCTV walking alone in the area late at night.

Strange justification for fear of dogs

During the police interrogation, the accused Irfan gave a strange reason. “I was walking at night when dogs attacked me, I set fire to the garbage on the side of the road to scare them away. I did not intend to kill the cows,” he said. But the police do not fully believe this statement.

The real act revealed on CCTV

Although the accused claims that he set fire to the garbage due to fear of dogs, the CCTV footage tells a different story. The video clearly shows the accused Irfan sitting very slowly, setting fire to the garbage, and then covering his face and escaping from there. There is a strong suspicion that this may have been a deliberate act.

Intense interrogation by the police

Currently, the DJ Halli police have subjected the accused to intense interrogation. An investigation is underway to find out whether he did this just because he was afraid of dogs or if there was some other personal enmity behind this. The family of Srinivas, who has been involved in dairy farming for about 25 years, is now waiting for the hope of compensation.
