A young man who sets world record as a college professor at the age of 18

America: Usually, young people start their college education at the age of 18. However, Nathan Thomas, a resident of Florida, America, has attracted global attention by teaching in the classroom as a college professor at the same age.

With his immense knowledge and hard work, he has created a ‘Guinness World Record’ as the youngest male professor in the world. This extraordinary achievement of his has shown the world that the desire to learn and dedication are more important than age.

306-year-old world record shattered:
Nathan Thomas was appointed as an engineering instructor at Miami Dade College at the age of just 18. With this, he has broken a world record that was exactly 306 years old. Previously, Nathan had held the record set by the famous mathematician and physicist Colin Maclaurin in 1717, when he became a professor at the age of 19. He is known for teaching students his own age or older.

Master’s degree at age 14:
Since both of Nathan’s parents were engineers, he developed a keen interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects from an early age. He started college-level studies at the age of 10 and completed both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering by the age of 14. Later, he began teaching computer programming at Miami Dade College in August 2023.

In addition to teaching, he is now studying law:
Nathan, currently 21, is pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Miami School of Law while continuing his teaching online.

They aim to specialize in Intellectual Property Law and STEM innovation in the future. Nathan Thomas holds the record for being the youngest male professor in the world and Alia Saboor holds the record for being the youngest female professor, proving that talent knows no age.
