Delhi, April 23: A 22-year-old IIT graduate, who was studying for IAS exams, was brutally raped by an IRS officer’s daughter. She was attacked with sharp weapons and raped after she lost consciousness. She was later murdered and valuables including gold ornaments were stolen from the house.


19-year-old Rahul Meena, who worked in the officer’s house, had committed the crime and fled. The accused was arrested through a quick operation by the police.
The most horrific incidents have taken place in the national capital. Many incidents, including the Nirbhaya case, have shocked the country. Now this case has been included in the list of the most brutal and horrific incidents. It includes not only rape, but also assault, robbery and murder.
The incident took place when the daughter of an IRS officer and a dentist was preparing for the IAS exam after completing IIT.
How did the incident happen?
The accused, named Rahul Meena, 19, had been doing housework in the same officer’s house for 8 months. During this time, he had completely cleaned the house. In the meantime, Rahul Meena had attempted to steal. Not only that, his daughter had expressed her dissatisfaction with his behavior to his father. Therefore, he was fired from his job.
The officer and his wife, a dentist, had gone to the gym at 6.15 am. At this time, his daughter had gotten up and started studying to prepare for the exam. Accused Rahul Meena had entered the house at 6.30 am. He went up the terrace and went to her room. He attacked her from behind. When he attacked her with the object he found, she fell in a semi-conscious state. Then he raped her. After raping her, he attacked her. She died in this attack.
He dragged her body from the terrace to the locker room and tried to open the fingerprint key with her finger. But he could not. He then broke open the locker with the weapons he had and robbed it of cash, gold and silver. He robbed it of approximately Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh in cash and jewellery.
He took off his dress and shoes from the same house and left wearing the new clothes he had brought. While leaving, he sold his mobile phone for Rs 10,000 and then booked a cab for Rs 6,500. The police conducted a quick operation and arrested the accused near Dwarka and interrogated him.
