New Delhi: Serious allegations have been made that MPs who had earlier left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP are being harassed. It is said that Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha has complained to President Draupadi Murmu in this regard.

Yes.. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha and other MPs on Tuesday accused the AAP-led Punjab government of “revenge politics” and also alleged that the state machinery is being misused to target MPs who recently left the party and merged with the BJP in the Rajya Sabha.
Raghav Chadha along with three other MPs met President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday and reportedly requested him to take action against them for harassment and “politically motivated” actions after they left the AAP.
“We have today presented to the President of India all the MPs who have left the Aam Aadmi Party exercising their constitutional right to express their disagreement with the party and the incidents that took place in this regard.
When we were obedient, we were called as reformers. But from the moment we left the party, we are being called corrupt,” Chadha told reporters after the meeting.
He alleged that former AAP MPs who have joined the BJP are being threatened and pressured through state institutions. The Aam Aadmi Party, which accuses others of vendetta politics, is now indulging in dangerous vendetta politics.
Since we left AAP on April 24 and merged with the BJP, our MPs have been systematically targeted and harassed. Former cricketer and MP Harbhajan Singh was attacked. At the same time, the business operations of businessman and MP Rajendra Gupta are being disrupted, he said.
